Choosing the right rack depends on your truck model and year, bed length, mounting rails, and tonneau cover. Choose a rack for your truck
- Ford F-150 TuckRack: select the listed year option, either 2021 to Present or 2020 or Earlier.
- Chevy Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 TuckRack: select 2019 to Present or 2018 or Earlier.
- Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500/3500 TuckRack: select 2019 to Present or 2018 or Earlier.
- RAM 1500 TuckRack: an OEM utility rail system is required for installation. Confirm the specific truck year, bed, and rail setup with TuckRack.
- Toyota Tundra TuckRack: an OEM bed rail kit is required for installation. Confirm the specific truck year, bed, and rail setup with TuckRack.

Can you use a TuckRack with a tonneau cover?
Standard TuckRack systems mount inside the bed rails and work with most folding and rolling tonneau covers. Compatibility depends on the cover's mounting hardware and the space it occupies. A tonneau-compatible truck rack still needs enough clearance for both the rack and the cover to operate.
Send TuckRack your cover's brand and model along with your truck year, model, and bed length. Photos of the cover rails and the front of the truck bed can help us check your setup. Do not assume that every cover fits simply because it is a folding or rolling design.
Extra clearance for Chevy and GMC trucks
The Chevy/GMC Extension Kit creates extra clearance for covers that take up more room near the front of the bed, including some tri-fold setups. It expands clearance up to 7 7/8 inches and uses bolt-on installation.
Capacity changes with this accessory: using the extension kit reduces the TuckRack weight limit from 500 lb to 300 lb. This kit is listed for Chevy/GMC systems only; it is not listed as a Ford, RAM, or Toyota accessory.
Full rack or tailgate set?
A full TuckRack system provides front and rear rack support. A tailgate set provides rear support only and must be paired with another manufacturer's compatible headache rack or cab guard. Tailgate sets are not standalone full rack systems.
TuckRack tailgate sets use top-mount brackets rather than the interior side mounts used by the standard systems. They are compatible with most top-mount tonneau covers, but the cover and existing front rack still need to be checked together.

Mounting requirements depend on the truck and rack configuration. Review the product requirements and installation instructions before ordering. RAM 1500 and Toyota Tundra systems require the OEM rails described above; confirm that the rails match your specific truck.
